Prologue

Abstract

This volume No. 12 presents a structured compilation in 6 thematic sections which comprise 9 articles. The first section called Linguistic and Cultural Revitalization, presents the article: Expression of Calculus in the Miskitu Culture of Sandy Bay Sirpi, South Atlantic Autonomous Region. The second section, entitled Higher Education in the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast, presents the following articles: Evaluation of Competencies in Students, URACCAN-Nueva Guinea; Methodologies in the Teaching of the Derivative: URACCAN-New Guinea; Use of the Virtual Platform of the URACCAN-Nueva Guinea Campus, II Semester 2012. The third section, Intercultural Health, includes the article: Therapeutic Abortion in Nicaragua and El Salvador, Maternal Mortality and the Millennium Goals. The fourth section called Gender and Identity with the articles: Approach to Intercultural Critical Gender Consciousness from the Community and Intercultural University Model; likewise, Bolivian Women in Las Chacras, Malargüe, Mendoza, Argentina, their Double Status of Migrant and Women. The fifth section named Natural Resources and Environment, the article Vulnerability to Pollution of the Micro-Basin of the Trintara River Waspam Coco River. Closing the sixth section the Article: Identification of Potential Trees of (Theobroma Cacao, L) in Siuna and Rosita, June 2009-June 2010.
