Abstract
<div></div> 1175/5000 This essay aimed to record the Melding Agenda debate, proposed by its creators as a hypothesis as a new dimension of the Agenda Setting, from a renewed approach that puts at the center groups of individuals capable of creating connections with others, to decide on one or several agendas and to constitute their own. This new perspective of the Melding Agenda or combination of agendas, desentelaraña old, arbitrary and questioned positions such as the Theory of the hypodermic needle and the Theory of the spiral of silence, from which individuals had reduced their ability to think and decide, remaining behind, the dominant and super-powerful effect of the media in setting the agenda and the public's priority over it. Indeed, the Melding Agenda has proposed a new theoretical, methodological and pragmatic paradigm, which will lead to a new era in the media and that can move from vertical to more horizontal positions, as long as they manage to incorporate and prioritize as part of its agenda the same of the community, understood as the group of individuals in a society.Downloads
